I own a 2018 Ram 1500 with a 5.7 liter Hemi that has developed roller lifter noise at cold start up with only 9400 miles on it. Only lasts about 8 seconds after oil pressurized. All dealers say this is normal and common. They say that oil drains back to pan from multi-displacement spool valve assembly. What are your thoughts? -Dan , Reynoldsburg
That is normal BUT I would have it checked buy a few dealers. Make sure you keep the records.
